NCCIH Offers Free Online Continuing Education Series

NCCIH (National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health) is offering free, comprehensive videolectures about research in complementary health approaches. Topics range from mind-body pain therapies to acupuncture. These online videolectures provide an in-depth perspective on the current state of science, as related to complementary medicine.

Health professionals are eligible to receive continuing education credits (CME and CEU) and a certificate of completion at no cost.  This series was designed for physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals interested in research and learning about complementary medicine. Researchers, students, and members of the public are also welcome to view the online lectures and learn about NCCAM’s research.

To receive continuing education credits or to print a certificate of completion registration is required. Additionally, registering will allow you to bookmark a video and return to complete a module at a later time.  Each lecture includes a post-test that you must complete with an accuracy of 70% or higher in order to receive a CME or a CEU credit.  This online activity is approved for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and 7 Nursing contact hours.

Completion of this educational program does not represent professional medical license/credentials or certification to practice within the topic areas covered.  For assistance, contact NCCIH's Clearinghouse toll-free at 1-888-644-6226 or [email protected].

Free online lectures include:
