Halloween Prints
Dickies and Cherokee both offer a different spin on the black cat for scrubs prints. The Kool Cat warm-up jacket from Dickies is one you might already have in your closet if you are a dyed-in-the-fur cat lover. It translates well into a Halloween jacket if you wear it over a black or an orange top.
Cherokee’s Hello Kitty Halloween print is more season-specific. This favorite feline icon is too cute for words flying through the night on a broomstick with her mousey by her side. The orange and black color combination is still feminine with touches of hot pink popping out here and there.
If you’re more of a dog person, don’t feel left out! Cherokee has Scooby Scary Squares to satisfy your desire for creepy canine prints. This top will go with scrubs pants in pretty much any color.
Costume Ideas
What about scrubs that aren’t specifically Halloween-themed? They can still be incorporated into a costume that’s appropriate for the workplace. Here are a few ideas to get your brain percolating:
- Black Cat
Paint whiskers on your face and don this black tiger-striped and leopard-spotted Animal Nature top from BabyPhat. Add a headband with cat ears and paint your nails black. Now you’ve got a complete look that you can wear throughout your shift.
- Hula Girl
A coconut bra and grass skirt ensemble isn’t practical or professional, but you can still be a Polynesian beauty with Skechers’ La Isla Bonita top. Put a crown of fabric hibiscus flowers in your hair to make yourself feel like an island queen for a day.
- Hippie Healer
This Birds of Peace top from Dickies makes the perfect costume piece for the role of hippie nurse. Wear it with a beaded lanyard, a tie-dyed bandanna and a really mellow attitude.
