Taking care of your health has never been as important. You have a real crazy schedule and work sometimes feels like a never-ending marathon. As a result, not only that your work sucks all the energy out of you, but your eating habits are a mess. You either end up not eating at all and then indulging in a heavy meal or you either snack on junk all day long.

If you want to give your body the proper fuel it needs you will have to stick to a clean diet. Make an intention and commit to it. To achieve this and avoid all those temptations waiting for you, you need to plan your meals and always have a healthy snack close by when hunger strikes.

Since healthy options are not as readily available, the best way to go around this is to prepare your yummy snacks – and preferably in as short of time as possible. Here is our list of some great and delicious grab and go snacks to keep your tummy happy at work:

  1. Fruit Salads

A fruit salad is always easy to prepare in the morning. But, in cases when you have no time to make one before heading to work, you can always prepare it during your break. They are a great source of high fibers and water, and they will easily satisfy your sugar cravings without you devouring a whole chocolate bar.

But in case you crave chocolate too much, you can always top a fruit salad with a piece or two of dark chocolate. For some real great treat, melt the chocolate and dip in fruit slices in it. What a great, quick way to have a royal snack!

They will fill you up real quick, and the great nutrients they provide will fuel your body for a long time. Your carb cravings will be gone in no time.

  1. Tuna Salad

It is the perfect meal for a hard, demanding day. Mixing up your favorite vegetables with tuna will instantly fill you up with vitamins and energy. For a quick, delicious recipe, you can go for something as simple as mixing celery, a touch of red onions and tuna. So enjoy peeling them and indulge!

  1. Hummus Dips

Hummus is a great snack, and it tastes great. For those days when you feel like having some comfort food, you might find a great alternative to a good old hummus to dip in your veggie slices.

  1. Coconut Water

It might not sound like a very legit snack, but it is a great alternative to hydrating yourself the royal way. Coconut water is an amazing source of potassium, and you can always bring it along another snack to fill you up. The great part about it is that you can store them very easily which makes them the perfect option for having them with you wherever you go.
