SUPERVISOR RN needed in Greenbrae, CA - Nurse Managers supervise the day to day functions of a facility's nursing unit. Nurse Managers try to improve the care patients receive, even though their contact with patients may be limited. Nurse Managers focus mainly on administrative duties for their entire unit.
Responsibilities
As a Nurse Manager your responsibilities consist of:

Selecting and retaining staff members.
Coordinating training sessions.
Handle employee reviews and staff advancement programs.
Making employee schedules.
Establishing procedures and policies to advance the department and how patients are cared for.
Making departmental budgets.
Assessing expenses by month.
Buying supplies and equipment.

Requirements
One year of experience as a Nurse Manager within the past two years.

Active RN License in good standing.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
