Special Care Nursey RN needed in Cincinnati, OH - A Nursery Registered Nurse usually works in hospital nurseries. Sometimes assisting in private residences or outpatient care centers when home care is required for infants who are sick. Nursery Nurses usually provide non-medical care such as changing dirty diapers and taking care of colicky babies. Additional jobs can vary based on the need.
Responsibilities
Nursery RN responsibilities include:

Aiding the pediatric physician.
Instructing family of the patient of proper home care and follow-up steps.
Administering prescribed medications, tests, treatments and procedures.
Creating and overseeing patient care plans.
Creating patient records.

Requirements
One year of experience as a Nursery RN within the past two years.

Current Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
