PACU RN needed in Soldotna, AK - The Post Anesthetic Care Unit Registered nurse is responsible for the day to day care of patients that have just went through anesthesia during a procedures. Post Anesthetic Care Unit RNs take care of all types of patients, from adults to children and play an crucial role in the recovery of the patient.
Responsibilities
As a Post Anesthetic Care Unit Registered nurse your responsibilities consist of:

Assess the health of the patient and administer medications as needed.
Assisting patients with personal needs immediately after their medical procedure as they are guided back to consciousness.
Watch the vitals of the patient and ensure that no complications come up.
Care for the patients post operation wounds and change bandages when necessary.

Requirements
One year of experience as a Post Anesthetic Care Unit RN within the past two years.

Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
