ONCOLOGY RN needed in Rockport, ME - The primary focal point for the Oncology Nurse is to provide care for patients who are diagnosed with various stages of cancer. Oncology Registered Nurses also work with patients that have a elevated risk of getting the disease, and provide their patients with preventative methods.
Responsibilities
As an Oncology Nurse your duties include:

Providing encouragement to patients while educating them on their condition.
Administering chemotherapy and other necessary medications to the patient.
Overseeing the patients physical and mental condition and making notes of their progress.

Requirements
One year of experience as a Oncology Nurse within the past two years.

Current RN License in good standing.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
