NEURO RN needed in Lebanon, NH - ICU Registered Nurses must provide top end care for patients with life-threatening trauma. ICU RNs must have the ability to make rapid and accurate decisions while staying composed during unpredictable, traumatic events.
Responsibilities
ICU Registered Nurses duties include:

Evaluating the patient's progress.
Taking needed steps if there are any changes in the patient's condition.
Assisting medical staff with medical procedures.
Ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly while caring for patients.
Administering necessary medication in a fast moving, high stress environment.
Providing emotional support while updating family members of current health status of the patient.

Requirements
One year of experience as an ICU RN within the past two years.

Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

New Hampshire was one of the original thirteen colonies that formed the United States and it's rich in history. One example is just outside of Portsmouth is the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion, the former home of New Hampshire's first royal governor, Benning Wentworth, who served from 1741 to 1767. The mansion overlooks Little Harbor and is one of the most well preserved homes of the colonial era.


The White Mountains cover about a quarter of New Hampshire and they contain the tallest peaks east of the Rocky Mountains. The highest is Mount Washington at 6,288 feet and it winds over 230 mph above timberline. In the summer the White Mountains are great for hiking and in the winter you'll find great skiing, snowboard and tubing at the many ski resorts. But in the fall, the countryside is redecorated in a myriad of vibrant colors and people come from across the country to hike and drive among the fall foliage.



The land is beautiful, the people are independent and friendly and the pace is comfortable. New Hampshire is a good place to advance your nursing career.

Requirements

One year of experience as an ICU RN within the past two years. Active Nursing License in good standing. Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association. Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
