Job Details

ICU RN needed in Torrance, CA - ICU RNs must provide top end care for patients with life-threatening injuries. Intensive Care Unit Nurses must have the ability to make quick and accurate decisions while keeping composed during unpredictable, traumatic events.
Responsibilities
Intensive Care Unit RNs duties include:

Evaluating the patient's progress.
Taking needed steps if the patient's condition changes.
Assisting doctors with medical procedures.
Making sure all equipment is functioning correctly while taking care of patients.
Dispensing necessary medication in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
Providing emotional support while updating family members of current health status of the patient.

Requirements
One year of experience as an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse within the past two years.

Current Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
