Job Details

ICU RN needed in Princeton, IL - Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses must provide top end care for patients with life-threatening injuries. Intensive Care Unit RNs must have the ability to make rapid and accurate decisions while keeping composed during unpredictable, traumatic events.
Responsibilities
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses responsibilities consist of:

Analyzing the patient's progress.
Taking needed steps if the patient's condition changes.
Assisting doctors with medical procedures.
Making sure all equipment is functioning correctly while taking care of patients.
Dispensing needed medication in a fast moving, high stress environment.
Providing emotional support while updating family members of current health status of the patient.

Requirements
One year of experience as an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse within the past two years.

Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
