Home Health RN needed in Anchorage, AK - The Home Health Nurse is responsible for providing high qaulity health care for the seniors or disabled, in the patients home. Home Health RN will typically assist the patient with daily tasks that they can no longer perform independently.
Responsibilities
As a Home Health Registered Nurse your responsibilities consist of:

Working with the patient with feeding, taking baths, getting dressed, and other areas they struggle with.
Delivering medications and logging the patient's vitals on a day to day basis.
Provide patients with diet and exercise plans that fit their current health status and check their daily improvement.
Transport the patient to and from medical appointments.

Requirements
One year of experience as a Home Health Registered Nurse within the past two years.

Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.

In the winter, Anchorage becomes a wonderland. Skiers and snowboarders have three choices within 45 minutes of downtown Anchorage. All of them surround you in stunning scenery and awesome terrain. Opportunities are also available for the truly adventurous to head into the backcountry to ski on untouched powder. Winter also provides opportunties to see the northern lights put on a light show that that can only rarely be seen anywhere else in America. Add in dog sleeding, ice fishing, skijoring (a fast growing sport that combines cross country skiing with a dog pulling you) and Anchorage's vibrant indoors nightlife and you have a destination like no other!

Requirements
