FIRST ASSIST RN needed in Presque Isle, ME - The RNFA is responsible for the care of patients before, during and after their medication procedures. They frequently work with surgeons and physicians to make sure the patient is given the best care possible and all complications are avoided.
Responsibilities
As a First Assistant Registered Nurse your duties include:

Performing various assessments to make sure the patient is ready for their surgery.
Helping the surgeons in any way needed ways during the operation.
Providing incision and wound care during the operation while consistently monitoring the vitals of the patient.
Teaching patients and their families on the appropriate follow-up care to ensure a quick and safe recovery is made.

Requirements
One year of experience as a First Assistant Nurse within the past two years.

Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
