Requirements

The Maintenance Worker under the supervision of the Director of Plant Operations and Safety is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the hospital to include: equipment, building, and grounds.

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrates competence in the human stages of growth and development. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate with two years of experience in plumbing, electrical systems, basic carpentry, and painting. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with the coworkers. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demand as described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
