Registered Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who provides, coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process, standards of care and practices along with hospital philosophy.

 
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing program preferred. 
Licensure: Licensure and registration by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners; Current CPR certification; ACLS Preferred
Experience: At least two (2) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must pass the medication administration exam before administering medications.
Successful completion of training in Handle with Care and within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
