Position Summary:



Manatee Memorial Hospital, a 319-bed acute care facility is located on the banks of the Manatee River in Bradenton, Florida. The hospital has been a major provider of quality healthcare in the Tampa Bay Region since 1953. Manatee Memorial Hospital has a medical staff of over 500 physicians and the only residency program in the county. The spectacular four-story patient tower welcomes visitors as they cross over the bridge from Palmetto to Bradenton. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency services, cardiac, cardiovascular, surgery, outpatient services, women’s and children’s services and orthopedic services, in addition to specialty programs in chest pain, a primary stroke center and the only pediatric center and Level ll Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the county. Manatee Memorial Hospital currently has a  Radiology Office Clerk position available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:

Under the direction of the area supervisor, the office clerk will be responsible for filing of jackets and reports, location jackets and all other office duties. Must have the initiative and ability to learn anatomy and medical terminology and be able to converse with medical professional on any level. Must have good telephone voice and etiquette and be computer literate. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

 
Requirements

High School Graduate or Equivalent
Previous hospital and or clinical setting desired.
X-Ray file room and /or medical office experience. 
Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday
