Aiken Regional Medical Centers, a 245-bed acute care facility located in Aiken, South Carolina, has been providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917.  More than 120 physicians representing 40-plus specialties are on the medical staff at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.  Ninety-two percent of the medical staff are board certified, many in multiple specialties.   Aiken Regional Medical Centers currently has a MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST position available:

 

Responsibilities:

This position provides examination and test performance on human specimens for purposes of obtaining information for the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients.  Responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and results reporting.

 
Requirements

Training in a qualified Medical Technology Program.  Clinical experience under a licensed Pathologist  Registration required by ASCP or equivalent Board of Registry.
