Established in 1986, the Anchor Hospital campus of Southern Crescent Behavioral Health System is a 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission that specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for Adolescents, Adults and Senior Adults.  Located in College Park, GA, Anchor Hospital serves Mental Health and Substance Abuse patients from all over the Southeast. We are committed to excellence in diagnosis, treatment and education. Patients who come to Anchor Hospital are in crisis, and the road to recovery for behavioral, mental health, and substance abuse patients is a difficult one. The staff at Anchor Hospital serves as compassionate guides who provide for our patients’ clinical needs.


1.      Establish and maintain regular contact with both current and potential referral sources.

2.      Cultivate relationships with prospective referral sources, generating desire to utilize hospital’s services.

3.      Demonstrate a working knowledge of all hospital programs and services, plus ability to easily communicate those programs and how they can meet the needs of specific referral sources, patients, families, agencies and/or community members.

4.      Participate in non-traditional marketing (e.g., occasional evening and/or weekend marketing activity).

5.      Identify contracting and utilization opportunities related to specific hospital programs and levels of care (e.g., partial hospitalization).

6.      Participate in orientation to the units and programs to proactively stay abreast of services provided by the hospital and changes or developments that will be important to referral sources.

7.  Actively support the hospital’s ongoing referral development program.

8.  Represent the hospital at health fairs, exhibits, seminars, etc.

9.  Arrange for presentations/in-services and present information formally and informally to professional/community resources regularly.

10.  Possess a working knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS and state regulatory agencies.

Travel is in-state; very rarely overnight travel.



Minimum Bachelor's Degree with combined education and experience;  develop and maintain direct referral relationships in designated market.
