Position Summary:
Join Fairfax Behavioral Health today and provide help, hope, and healing. We currently have an available opportunity for a Maintenance Technician in our Kirkland, Washington hospital.




The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks in Kirkland and at our off site facilities, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, light HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance, transportation and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.




Education: High school graduate or equivalent; two year degree from technical or trade school preferred or three years applicable experience.

Experience: Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions.  Must have an understanding of general building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering.

Licensure: Must have a valid driver’s license.

Desired Qualifications: WA state Nonresidential Maintenance Electrician license or equivalent; City of Seattle Journey Refrigeration Mechanic Class “A” license or equivalent.

Additional Requirements: Must have a complete knowledge of physical plant within four weeks of hire. Must be computer literate and be able capable of using varies software products. Must be available to participate in the on-call schedule which could require occasional weekend work.
