Position Summary:
Laurel Heights Hospital is an intensive psychiatric residential treatment facility for children and adolescents. We are seeking a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN with the ability to work with minimal supervision; general experience in electrical mechanical, plumbing and air conditioning with experience in repairs and maintenance; understanding that safety is as important as well as job completion; flexibility; ability to work closely with patients and staff in a caring and supportive style. Must Possess a HVAC Sytems and Control certification. In addition, applicant must have High school level reading, writing and mathematics skills; oral communication skills, legible handwriting; ability to concentrate on task in high traffic area; ability to keep information highly confidential. Able to meet deadlines and set priorities/skills in dealing courteously with the public and with patients within the organization. EOE.
