Position Summary:

Cedar Creek Psychiatric Hospital is an acute care psychiatric treatment facility located in St. John’s Michigan just 30 minutes north of Lansing. This new facility is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2017 and will serve both adults and adolescent populations in both inpatient and partial hospitalization settings. Cedar Creek is part of the Universal Health Services (UHS), the largest facility-based behavioral health provider in the country. UHS owns and operates over 290 behavioral health facilities in 37 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom employing over 71,000 employees.

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for a Maintenance Lead position. Responsible for maintaining the various areas and items within the hospital campus. The Maintenance Lead Worker should understand their duties are performed in a systematic manner and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and applicable regulatory/accreditation rules and guidelines in ensuring a safe, attractive, and orderly facility.

Requirements

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Limited experience with H.V.A.C. equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment including hand and power tools, carpentry, grounds maintenance, and auxiliary power supply systems.
3. Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal regulatory codes regarding Fire and Life Safety Codes, building and engineering codes preferred.
4. Must be willing to work any hours requiring maintenance personnel.
5. A valid Michigan driver’s license.
