The Insurance Analyst, Contracts, coordinates, monitors, reviews for compliance, sets up procedures, and tracks insurance requirements for contracts and agreements.

Job Responsibilities:

Verifies and approves insurance requirements and certificates.

Reviews contracts to assure correct additional insured's are listed, coverage limits are correct, endorsements and waivers are included, and any special terms are correctly addressed on the certificate in compliance with the associated agreement.

Communicates directly with the hospital facilities, possibly the vendors, and their insurance agents when there are deficiencies to assist them in achieving compliance with requirements.

Manages processes and works with company software tracking database.

Monitors and tracks insurance expiration dates and provides status updates to internal and external parties.

Tracks authorizations and correspondence.

Prepares internal contract reports and information for contract management.

Performs contract closeout activities, as needed.


Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 year's experience required.

• Ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks in order to operate effectively in a fast paced environment, exhibit a high degree of flexibility, and to build strong relationships with other departments, contractors, and vendors.
• Experience in the commercial insurance industry or legal industry, either at a carrier, broker, or client; experience can be in underwriting, client service, or claims.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry related software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to follow through on several work assignments simultaneously.
• Customer service oriented.
