Position Summary:

First Home Care is a core service agency providing Medicaid and mental health services to children, adolescents and families in Washington DC and the surrounding areas. Our programs offer free-standing, independent levels of care; however, they also function as contracted, wraparound services. As such, they provide ancillary treatment to support programs of social service agencies, special education programs, and office-based therapies.

First Home Care is seeking an experienced program manager to help initiate a new program within the District.

The Early Childhood Program Project Manager provides supervision and support to First Home Care’s SEED Program, SEED Program Clinical Supervisors and SEED Program Clinicians. Ensures effective and efficient delivery of services to clients. Collaborate with community, school, families and individuals, as well as our network providers and oversight agencies to enhance the overall functioning of the consumers engaged in the program. Assess referrals and identify appropriateness of individuals to participate in the SEED Program. Monitors the work of Clinicians to ensure quality clinical services are provided and to ensure compliance and fidelity to the SEED Program therapeutic modalities including PCIT and CPP-FV.

Requirements

Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Professional Counseling or Medicine with licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor or Psychiatrist in the District of Columbia 


Licensure/
Certification:
LICSW or LPC in DC preferred

Experience: Two or more years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting working with children, adolescents and adults. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Physical
Requirements:
Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. during an 8 hour day. Must be able to implement repetitive hand movement/finger dexterity to utilize a computer to complete reports, respond to emails at least 40% of the time during an 8 hour workday. Be able to frequently, accurately and safely maneuver an automobile for the purposes of providing transportation to clients and transporting self to meetings, appointments, etc. The person in this position frequently verbally interacts with foster parents, clients, referral sources, medical providers and community resources during at least 30% of their time during an 8 hour workday. Be able to accurately, clinically, and in timely manner document client information, develop treatment plans and complete reports. Will occasionally be required to lift file cabinet drawers, weighing no more than 5 pounds, to gain access to files and lifting/carrying client charts weighing up to 10 pounds to your work area; or move client personal belongings to a foster home.
