Position Summary:

Counselors/ Social Workers:

Hiring for LCPC or LCSW, part- time, to cover various shifts, including weekdays and weekends. LCPC or LCSW w/CADC is a plus. Regular scheduled shifts available. Potential for full-time work at later time if desired by applicant. Applicant must be enthusiastic, compassionate, able to multitask, have ability to deal with crisis in calm, professional manner, have an understanding of different cognitive/behavioral interventions and have experience facilitating group therapies.

 

 

Intermountain Hospital is a 155-bed treatment facility that provides a full range of inpatient behavioral health and substance use disorder recovery services for adults, adolescents and seniors. The hospital has been a healthcare provider in the Boise area since 1980. Intermountain is licensed by the State of Idaho, accredited by The Joint Commission, and TRICARE certified and contracted. We enjoy membership in the Idaho Hospital Association.

 

The Case Manager performs social services functions to assist patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them, through therapeutic treatment skills, to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, group therapy sessions, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, and providing information and referrals as needed. 

 
Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.  Program Therapist requires a minimum of two (2) years experience preferred.

 

Additional Requirements:  CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Instruction (CPI) training within 30 days of employment.  May be required to work flexible hours and overtime. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire.  Successful completion of internal criminal background check.
