Position Summary:
The Assistant Clinical Program Director (ACPD) serves as a key member of the senior leadership team. The ACPD possesses knowledge of psychiatric clinical diagnosis and the ability to articulate those indicators professionally. As needed, is responsible for a safe environment for clients, provides direct supervision of clients, empowers clients, and teaches new tools for coping to clients. Coordinates the development, management and implementation of each client's discharge planning and any subsequent transition services, including monitoring all aftercare programming and participating in the coordination of the transition process.

The ACPD is responsible for serving as the clinical expert in all Compass Intervention Center’s decision-making and program design. The ACPD will be responsible for program development for specialized client populations for all levels of care; as well as, reporting of outcomes of the program. This position requires strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills, along with decision-making ability, planning expertise and initiative.

In conjunction with community and facility resources, contributes to the maintenance of relationships with outside agencies, private practitioners, insurers and family members.

Education - Master’s in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required.   
Experience - Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.  Inpatient or residential experience and experience with program development highly preferred.
Licensure - Licensed professional in a counseling related field preferred but not required.
